TIM has launched the Smart City Challenge initiative, aimed at startups and SMEs that can propose innovative solutions in the Smart City field.
UTwin won the Edison NEXT award, one of the initiative's partners committed to decarbonization and ecological transition. For this reason, the Edison Group company decided to award UTwin for its commitment to developing innovative solutions for collaborativa and sustainable building management. According to a study by Politecnico di Milano, the Italian Smart City market is growing rapidly; it is estimated that investments will exceed 10 billion euros by 2027, mainly due to the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), which was stipulated to jumpstart the economy following the pandemic.
