Techstars

In 2021 we attended the Torino Cities of the Future Techstars Accelerator at the OGR tech, in our current operating office. The program started at the end of January 2022 and lasted three months till the final demo day, held on the 21th of April at the OGR cult in Turin.

UTwin is the only Italian startup Techstars invested in during the third edition of Torino Cities of the Future Techstars Accelerator.

Techstars is the worldwide network that helps entrepreneurs succeed. Founded in 2006, Techstars began with three simple ideas—entrepreneurs create the future, collaboration drives innovation, and great ideas can come from anywhere. Since 2006, Techstars has invested in more than 3,000 companies and today has a market cap of $75 Billion.

Cities of the Future Accelerator is the first startup accelerator dedicated to smart cities in Turin. The initiative was promoted by Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and Fondazione CRT in collaboration with Techstars with the aim of promoting the development of the city of Turin as an international ecosystem for innovation and its affirmation as a model of success in Italy and in Europe.
