Digital Twin and BMS: Integration Between UTwin and Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure

The integration between UTwin and Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure™ platform marks a significant advancement in smart building management. This synergy enables real-time visualization—within the digital twin—of data coming from Schneider Electric’s Building Management System (BMS), such as energy consumption and environmental parameters.​

Thanks to this connection, it’s possible not only to monitor systems but also to automate operations. For example, users can remotely switch off lighting or air conditioning, or set up automated rules based on specific conditions. This approach enhances energy efficiency and simplifies building operations.

The pilot project was implemented at a Schneider Electric site, successfully demonstrating the effectiveness of the integration. This solution is now available to all UTwin clients, providing an interoperable and scalable platform for advanced building management.
