Overview

The facility has been inaugurated in 2020 and is used by Amazon to stock larger products. The distribution center is a sustainable structure, which integrates systems for energy saving by reducing the environmental footprint thanks to reduced levels of emissions. During the construction phase, sustainability principles and cutting-edge solutions were applied in this direction, such as the installation of solar panels for a total installed power of 2 MW, systems for reducing energy consumption, LED lights for lighting, a system for cooling and heating of the rooms with energy recovery, hot water supply without the use of methane gas, windows and roofing materials that promote thermal insulation.
